Fall Haul
A co-worker and I were presented with the opportunity to split a fall/ winter share at our CSA. This is a pilot program and there are only 12 shares this year. There are 3 deliveries 2 in November and 1 more in early December. We weren't really sure what to expect but I was blown away by both the volume and variety in our first delivery. This is a full share which we split with another family. Our potato bin is nearly full, I have tons of squash, and that big bag in the back right was packed full of spinach. SPINACH! I was so glad to have fresh, local spinach. I'm starting my day tomorrow with a green smoothie! Do any of you have a CSA that has deliveries through the late fall or winter? I'd love to hear more about how yours works!

ReplyDeleteGlad the concert went well. Daylight savings is creating major havoc in our lives. Ugh.
